The Animal Parade Necklace

This exquisite & unique piece is custom made in London, in the spirit of Maria Zuerta. This luxury brand is the brainchild of Jewellery Designer Roberto Costa. His extensive travels through America & Europe inspire his work. He uses vintage pieces & reclaimed materials, which he reassembles to create completely one-off necklaces, bracelets & headpieces. This necklace is from his Animalia Kingdom Collection, which features vibrant pieces, each one with an animal theme. They are inspired by “all the beautiful creatures, wild animals & nature itself”. An incredible, short necklace made of gold vintage chains, (some costume, other plated) glass beads & vintage animal motif brooches. It features a striking leopard, a delicate butterfly, a shimmering lizard & a splendid stallion. The piece is approximately 28cm x 20cm. It will be dispatched via Royal Mail’s First Class Recorded Delivery Service in order to guarantee its safe arrival.

Maria Zuerta

We thought twice about introducing you to this dear lady but she’s promised to be good… Maria is completely fearless, an outrageous brazen libertine, living a life devoid of restraint or composure. Labelled amoral & depraved for her provocative but immaculate clothing she was condemned to wander the streets forever. Now she lives with us as a Circus stowaway. Like a malevolent magpie she is drawn to anything that glitters & sparkles. She shows no mercy. Her adoptive father Fagin taught her everything she knows & her pickpocket hands move quicker than lightning. So whatever you do, when you meet (& you will, of that we’re certain) keep her gaze, never accept her unlucky heather & always keep your hands in your own pockets. Oh and just once last thing. Don’t say we didn’t warn you…
