Haberdash House is home to Eliah the orphaned Pink Elephant. He packed his trunk & ran away to the Circus when he was just 2 years old. Unlike many other 4.5 ton animals, Eliah was born with some truly extraordinary talents. His painting career began when keepers saw him scratching in the dirt & offered him a paintbrush; his paintings now fetch thousands at Christies. He also makes mighty fine jewellery. He has the natural poise of a ballerina when balancing on his giant rubber ball. He’s also taken center stage in an elephant-only football match in Nepal. Sadly, after watching ‘Dumbo’, he did have to learn the hard way that whilst he may be a mammal of many talents, flying is definitely not one of them!
