Alvin The Bear
Alvin the Bear was lovingly created in Dalston, inside Ayako’s Cabin.
Alvin is a milliner. He doesn't normally express himself too much, but he can be quite outspoken at times, especially after a glass of wine.
He makes hats for all our Circus performers but the creation he is most proud of is his paper reconstruction of our very own Unfairground.
Please handle him with great care & hands wash him in cold water.
He is 57cm x 25cm.
Ayako's Cabin Dolls
Also known as the Circus’s Cloakroom, Ayako’s Cabin is the kind of place you might go to retrieve your favourite leather jacket & come back wearing an astronaut’s suit!
Imagine one large cabin sized fancy dress box, spilling over with costumes from every era imaginable.
In fact it’s one giant swap shop & all the clothing inside is yours to do with as you please for the duration of your trip to the Circus. Best of all it’s completely free.
Kevin, one of the Circus Roustabouts, mans the cabin. He is tachophobic & loves to collect beautiful junk. Whilst his filing systems leave a lot to be desired, he does possess a silver tongue that could convince a fine lady on a white horse that she’d look good in a 6-man tent.
